Stalybridge Snooker League Results (Week 15 & 16)

WEEK 15: 

The matches on 11th January brought us to the end of the third quarter of the league season and Mossley A played St Georges, St Peters played Hyde Snooker and Staly Labour played Mossley B. Both Hyde Snooker and Mossley A won 3-2 while Staly Labour recorded their third league victory beating Mossley B 4-1. In the cards league there were narrow wins for Hyde Snooker and Mossley A.

These results mean that Mossley A still lead the snooker league by 3 points from Hyde Snooker but in the card league Mossley A have now joined Mossley B as joint league leaders by one point ahead of St Georges.

WEEK 16: 

On 18th January we started the final quarter of the league with only five games left until we know who has won both leagues. St Peters played Staly Labour, Mossley A played Mossley B and Hyde Snooker should have played St Georges but their match was postponed. In the Snooker League there were 3-2 wins for St Peters and Mossley A, while there was also a win in the Card League for Mossley B.

These latest results mean that the current leagues show Mossley A six points clear at the top of the Snooker League from Hyde Snooker who have a game in hand and still need to play Mossley A in the final run in. In the cards the win for Mossley B leaves them two points clear of Mossley A with a game in hand..
