Stalybridge Snooker League Results (Week 7 & 8)

WEEK SEVEN: 

This is the second week of the six team league and Staly Labour had their first home match in the league against Hyde Snooker but lost 3-2. In the other snooker matches St Peters beat Mossley A 5-0 and Mossley B beat St Georges by the same score . There were also victories in the Whist league for both Mossley teams.

This resulted in Mossley B strengthening their hold at the top of the whist league but Mossley A losing leaves them now only joint leaders with Hyde Snooker.

WEEK EIGHT: 

Staly Labour had lost their first two matches in the league and hosted St Georges trying to break their duck but unfortunately lost 3-2. In the other matches St Peters were at home to Mossley B and beat them 3-2 , and in the clash of the joint league leaders Mossley A beat Hyde Snooker 4-1. In the whist league there were victories for Mossley A and St Peters ,who inflicted Mossley B’s first league defeat but they still were league leadrers but only now by 3 points from Mossley A.

In the snooker league Mossley A are clear leaders by 3 points from Hyde Snooker.
