Stalybridge Snooker League Results (Week 1 & 2)

Week 1

The first matches of the 2017/18 season took place on 28th September and all teams except St. Peters were in action.

In the snooker league new boys Hyde Snooker travelled to St. Georges and won 3-2.In the first Mossley derby of the season Mossley A travelled to Mossley B and also won 3-2.In the whist league however the results were the complete opposite with victories for both Mossley B and St. Georges .

Hyde Snooker and Mossley A are joint leaders in the snooker league and Mossley B and St. Georges are joint leaders in the whist league after these results.

Week 2

This week St. Peters started their league season with Hyde Snooker having a free week.

In the snooker league Mossley A welcomed St Peters and beat them 4-1 and Mossley B travelled to St Georges and won 3-2. In the whist league both Mossley A and Mossley B won theur matches.

These results now leave Mossley A 2 points clear in the snooker league ahead of Mossley B and in the whist league Mossley B are 2 points clear of both Mossley A and St Georges . Both Mossley teams have started very strongly.
